Job Title:  Account Executive

 

Compensation: $75k to $115k

 

Summary:  

As the Account Executive, you will be responsible for executing & driving the Brands overall sales strategy.  You will identify opportunities of business across department stores, independent (fashion boutiques), digital retail and specialty retailer accounts that support the division’s sales targets, profit margins and inventory goals.

 

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

 

·       Deliver KPI’s including target revenue, margin, range expansion, new accounts set up, strategic planning and partnership.

·       Expand the BCBGeneration & Max Azria brand footprint across existing and new Wholesale customer base to drive significant growth.

·       Manage, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal partners – design team, shipping team, production team.

·       Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base, revenue, margin, and key brand marketing assets.

·       Build and promote strong, long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

·       Lead effective presentations and assortment recommendations to clients.

·       Achieve financial targets and monitor business for areas of improvement.

·       Plan assortment by account, leveraging existing development and incorporating future product plans.

·       Develop account level plans and manage inventory plans for current and future seasons while achieving financial KPI’s.

·       Regularly run and review sales data to keep current with progress towards goals and take the actions necessary to achieve them.

·       Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

·       Effectively communicate business goals to management, internal and external partners, and cross-functional teams, as needed.

·       Deliver regular updates on the competitive marketplace.

·       Identify emerging trends and market shifts.

·       Keep current on general sales support activities such as order entry, sample trafficking, etc. as needed.

·       Plan and execute trunk shows and other events as needed.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

·       High proficiency of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint

·       Excellent trend awareness and understanding of product and consumer expectations across all channels with emphasis in the Footwear Industry.

·       Proven ability to operate successfully in an entrepreneurial environment.

·       Ability to communicate and influence effectively across the organization.

·       Creative problem-solving skills.

·       Strength in presenting to large audiences, storytelling, features and benefits, brand positioning.

·       Strong knowledge of retail math and planning.

·       Strong organizational and follow up skills.

·       Prior buying experience would be a plus.
